There is no point in denying the situation the world finds itself. The fallout from covid 19 has had ripple effects on other spheres of human life. Countries fell into recession, had barely enough food for their citizens. This story is the same in almost all the regions of the world, especially in developing countries. The developed countries are not left out too as strict lockdown measures have been imposed in various cities and even though it has been eased in most countries, things are yet to return to normal.

The statistics from word bank indicate that more than 150 million are expected to fall into poverty with the majority of these people from Africa.

Some countries have already experienced a humanitarian crisis before covid struck and the advent of covid made it worse.

The need to show our humanity has never been more cogent than it is now. The number of indigent people is increasing daily. Parents are struggling to meet the educational needs of their children. Many people live in IDP camps and have not seen their homes for years.
Humanity is on the verge of collapse and it desperately needs us to salvage it.

The world does not need heroes, the world needs those willing to preserve humanity, those willing to restore the dignity of their fellow human, those willing to sacrifice to put food on the tables of the less privileged, those willing to provide shelter for the homeless, those willing to provide medicare for those who can’t afford it.
